Rerolling

Rerolling in Genshin Impact is a popular practice, as it increases the chances of players getting the best weapons and characters. The process involves creating an entirely new account, and taking advantage of launch rewards or pre-registration. This gives players another chance to collect random items. This isn't without risk.

The game provides a wide selection of upgrade items that increase the performance of an individual unit. Upgrades for weapons, armor and rings are available. Upgrades increase the power of armors and weapons while rings boost a character's overall health. Players can also buy Corkian amplifiers to increase the effectiveness of upgrades.

In addition to these upgrades, a player can also reroll any of their equipped items. Rerolling an item resets its base power and the number of upgrades, and then randomly selects a new set of substats. This is useful when an item's fully upgraded power is less than desired, or the player wishes to change its substats.

To reroll a item, the player must first unlock the upgrade component. To do this click the box icon to open the item's window on the main screen. The player can then choose up to six items to "recycle". The item will be given a new upgrade component with a random rarity, level and stat.

After the item has been renewed, the player will need to pay a cost to complete the process. The cost increases based on the rarity of the upgrade component and the item's level. The player then has to repeat the process in order to unlock additional upgrades.
