Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components
A specific item can be used to transform specific Pokemon. The upgrade can be obtained by spinning a PokeStop's photo disc and can be given as a reward at Pokemon GO events.
The Upgrade can also be placed in weapons, armor, trinkets and gathering tools to increase the level of their item. The upgrade costs Flightstones or crests, based on the kind of item.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be inserted into weapons, armors, trinkets and gathering tools to provide attributes or other bonuses while the equipment being used. The item being upgraded must have an upgrade slot to accept the component, and most upgrade components require the item to be upgraded to be at the specified level. Some upgrade components also have special visual effects when they are added to an equipment piece. Upgrade components can be obtained through crafting, purchased from karma merchants or exchanged with other players on the Trading Post, used to repair equipment, or obtained as rewards during games.
Various upgrade components are available, each offering a different bonus. Universal upgrades like gems and inscriptions are able to be used on any kind of equipment. They provide smaller bonuses than other kinds of upgrade components. Infusions can be utilized on non-amulet and legendary ascended items, while enrichments can be used on some back equipment that has been ascended. Injecting an upgrade component will destroy the previous upgrade. The only exceptions are glyphs that can only be placed in gathering tools, and enchantments. Both are able to be removed and replaced.
Insignias or enchantments, as well as prefix/suffix upgrades will be displayed in the hover display of the item and they will be added to the equipment's name (e.g. a Radiant Insignia will change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The tooltip of an item will display the number of upgrades that have been added to it.
Glyphs
Glyphs are special characters that can be inserted into an OpenType font to add functional or decorative elements, like ligatures, ornaments, fractions, swashes registered trademark symbols and ellipses. The Glyphs Panel allows you to insert and examine these special characters, along with regular symbols like em and en dashes as in registered trademark symbols.
Each Glyph gives a primary stat boost for the character. It also includes up to four Secondary Stats that affect the glyph's radius on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats can be described as a %-increase that is multiplied when other bonuses are applied except for Speed Glyphs which directly increase the speed of the hero.
Selecting the Glyphs and clicking "enchant" will activate them. This will bring up a new window that displays the Glyphs you own that can be applied to the item you have selected. You only need to apply the appropriate Glyph to the item you are looking for. Every weapon or jewelry piece has a different collection of Glyphs.
You can level up Glyphs by completing Tree of Whisper Quests or Nightmare Dungeons. The more challenging the dungeon is, the greater the amount of Glyph experience you'll earn. Once a Glyph has reached level 15 it can be upgraded via the Glyph Upgrade Altar. Upgrades to a Glyph increases its radius on the Paragon Board by one node every 15 levels.
When a Glyph is at the desired level you can activate it. Select it and then click the "enchant button". The resulting glyph will provide the stated bonus and also boost all the other nodes that are within its radius on the Paragon Board. It's important to place Glyphs where they will be most beneficial to your build, and that is why it's recommended to prioritize Magic Glyphs early on. Rare glyphs may also offer double bonus when certain conditions are satisfied.
If you're having trouble finding a particular glyph, click the cycle widget on the Glyphs panel to show the panel in a number of perspectives. Each of these views shows the Glyphs in different fonts. You can narrow down the list of glyphs you want to see by selecting an option beneath "Entire Font". For instance, punctuation only shows punctuation glyphs. Math Symbols limit the selection to mathematical symbols.
Rerolling
Rerolling is a process in which you open a new account to give yourself more chances to pull an item or character you are interested in. Sets

Upgrades make a set item better than before. For armor and weapons, this means it gains an increased base defense value, an lower strength requirement, and a lower amount of requirement.
Upgrades can bring well-known items from single sets to the same level as those in higher-level sets. Upgrades like Guillaume's Face Helm to an Elite Spired helmet will increase the defense from 217 to 321 and reduce the strength and levels to an achievable range.
However it's important to keep in mind that not all set items are candidates for upgrading. Some sets, such as the FB Sorc Whistan's Shield spec or Naj's Puzzler staff, are already Elite and Exceptional in their own right and do not require any upgrades. On item upgrades , certain items that are BiS and have a lot of use (like Goldwrap) may benefit by being upgraded to boost their stats even more. It could be worthwhile to upgrade these items.
