World of Warcraft Upgrades
Upgrades are components which can be added to equipment in order to give it various bonus effects. Upgrades can be anything from stat boosts and increased proc chance of amazing effects on equipment to stat boosts.
The item upgrade system operates slightly differently than what you may be familiar with from other MMORPGs. This guide will cover the basics of how it works and some tips and tricks.
Rerolling
By visiting an item upgrader the player can upgrade items like trinkets, armor, and weapons that are above the level 9. These NPCs are located through a map search, or talking to an individual vendor. When item upgrades upgrade an item it gets stronger and also gains new benefits. It may take a long time to gather the materials required to upgrade an item but the rewards are worth it.
To complete a gear upgrade it is necessary to have a certain amount of Power Dices and Minerals. Power Dices are dropped by monsters in levels 21+ zones. They can be obtained via the scavenging process or purchased from the NPCs who upgrade items. Minerals and Erons can be obtained through crafting or purchased from upgraders of items. The upgrade process will eliminate any previous upgrades. However, the resulting items are still usable.

The upgrade pity system, which was introduced as part of the 2.6.0 gear overhaul, decreases the extreme variance in the chance of upgrading. This means that players have a greater likelihood of receiving their desired evolution item by spinning a Pokestop.

A list, or the tuple, is a collection type that permits duplicate values. Sets are distinct from other kinds of collections because they cannot have members that are duplicates. Upgrade components can be slotted into these items to grant an attribute bonus along with other effects while the equipment is in use.
Upgrades that are slotted into can be replaced, but cannot be removed unless the item is destroyed or salvaged using a Black Lion Salvage Kit or an item recovery tool of higher quality. Glyphs that are placed in gathering tools can be removed and replaced at will.
A player can reuse other equipment to purchase six upgrade components. Recycled items add a certain amount of levels to the upgrade gauge of an item. The amount of upgrades increases as the equipment becomes more valuable.
